“ My wife and I were waiting for our hotel to open, so we turned to Yelp to find a breakfast spot. Doña Esthela Restaurant caught our attention with its high ratings, and it didn't disappoint! We arrived around 9:45 a.m., and the place was already packed, which is always a good sign. Despite the crowd, the wait to be seated was only about 10-15 minutes, and they even had a parking attendant to help with parking, which we appreciated. The food was incredible--everything tasted really authentic, especially the handmade tortillas, which were large, warm, and just perfect. The atmosphere is definitely on the loud side, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a quiet spot. A bonus for us was that they accept card payments, making the whole experience smooth. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and we'll definitely be coming back! ”
“ This place was recommended by my suegros who love coming here. We arrived around 10:30 on a Friday morning and was told the wait would be about 10 minutes. It was actually about 30 minutes so be prepared for a long wait time, especially on the weekends. Once they sat us down, the service was quick and efficient. They start you off with chips & salsa and queso fresco as well. My wife and I ordered their cafe de olla and their chilaquiles verdes. I ordered mine with pollo since it came with an egg. I was surprised they didn't offer one with just an egg instead of with a protein as well. Both the cafe de olla en chilaquiles were delicious. The cafe de olla had just the right amount of sweetness and tasted like the one I make from home. The chilaquiles verdes were very flavorful. The tortillas tasted fresh, were crispy and tasted amazing with the sauce. The chicken was good and it was also topped off with Queso fundido. My wife and my mom both make their chilaquiles with cheese. It can't get anymore authentic than that. My son initially ordered their regular Hotcakes sencillos and I had suggested for him to try something new and to try their specialty ones made out of corn. I'm glad he did because these were really delicious. Definitely something different and he enjoyed them as well. Overall a really good dining experience and definitely worth the wait. Will definitely be returning on our next trip. ”
“ Came here on our visit to the Valle de Guadalupe on a recommendation. Place is pretty authentic, and they have a little of everything for everyone which i liked, food wise. Good breakfast and meals in general. Bathrooms were clean, and they even had a play area in the back for the kids, which i also liked. ”
“ Mi primera vez en este lugar! Muy agradable, tiene un excelente servicio con gente amable El café es delicioso, me encantó que te ofrecen pan mexicano calientito y te lo llevan directo a la mesa Una buena experiencia ”
“ My family has talked about this place every time we go to Mexico; not once ever stopping so I can check out the food. That all changed on Friday, where we went down to Mexico for a family birthday party, I was the driver and decided to stop by to check out the Birria for myself. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I opted for the lamb Birria and my god every bight of it was delicious. Every ingredient from the onions to the chilantro to the lamb itself was freshly prepared. Very family friendly and not too busy, being able to get a table within the first 1-2 minutes of us arriving. Definitely will be going back again. ”
